Minimum PowerShell version
Download and install or reinstall Office for Mac 2011 Office 2011 for Mac support has ended Upgrade to Microsoft 365 to work anywhere from any device and continue to receive support. I just downloaded Office 365 for Mac, and tried to install it in macOS Sierra 10.12.5.The installation froze when Running Package Scripts. It is a common problem. I followed this answer and launched Disk Utility, but it seems that there is no repair disk permission in Sierra.

Cancel Software Download Mac Package Scripts Ms Office
Script Editor User Guide
You can save your script as a compiled script that opens in Script Editor and is ready for further editing.
In the Script Editor app on your Mac, choose File > Save.
Enter a name for the script.
To save your script in a different location than shown, click the triangle to show all your saving options, then select a folder.
In the Save dialog, click the File Format pop-up menu, then choose a format.
Script: Save the script as an editable Script Editor document.
Script bundle: Include resources with the script, such as icons or sounds.
Application: Create an app using the script.
Text: Save the script as a plain text file.
Click Save.
